Welcome to Week 2 of the DONOVANS Toastie Challenge, taking us through from Saturday 12 to Friday 18 April.
We came out of the gates strong last week, with Bryan and Riley showing us what they think is the best thing since sliced bread.
But now, it’s time for our next contenders to take the stage, and this week we see Warrick and Adam stepping up to the hot plate.
Warrick is bringing an Asian-inspired Mi Goreng toastie, showing us a fusion twist on a classic, packed with seasoned Asian noodles, bold Indonesian flavours, and topped with a perfectly fried egg.
Sticking on the fusion theme, Adam is showing off his Croque Senorita toastie: A deliciously rich toastie with manchego cheese, chorizo, caramelised onion, smoky paprika and garlic béchamel, topped with a fried egg for the perfect finish.
Either option is served deli-style, with a side of potato crisps, shaved manchego cheese and a pickle. They’re eggs-actly what you’re after!
